Unmanned Aircraft Crash in Hebei Province, North China

News is just leaking out that on August 22, a Chinese secret unmanned aircraft crashed in Hebei Province, North China. The local police force blockaded the crash zone, but some local villagers took this photo before the arrival of law-enforcement personnel. The accurate crash position is in the hill area of Huining Town, Xingtai County. The crashed UAS is very similar to the U.S. RQ-4 Global Hawk. Some resources report that this aircraft is known as "Tianchi" (天翅) or BZK-005 and produced by CAC (Chengdu Aircraft Corporation).

A model of this UAS was once displayed in 2006 at the Zhuhai Airshow.
